The Community Volunteer award is presented anually by Fakenham Town Council to a person or group of people who have done an outstanding job in a volunteering role.  This year the award was presented to the team of volunteers at Fakenham Medical Practice who helped ensure the smooth roll out of the COVID-19 vaccination programme.

A commemorative tree is also to be planted in the grounds of the surgery.

The award was presented by Mayor Cllr Gilly Foortse, and was accepted by Dr Ben Coghill and representatives of the volunteers on behalf of the whole team.
