Viv JOSLIN

Councillor for South Ward

Serves on:

Full Council, HR Committee, Facilities & Amenities, Governance & Finance

I was born in the City of Derby but have lived and worked in many different locations during my working and retiring life.

I moved to Fakenham with my husband in 2017, and was co-opted onto the Town Council in 2020 between the pandemic measures.

Subsequently, my work experience in Library and Information services both in the UK and abroad, training staff and supplying information to all, have enabled me both practically and culturally, to work for the people in the town of Fakenham.

I have been very keen to support environmental projects that will preserve the River Wensum as an important chalk river, as well as add a natural area in Fakenham for all to enjoy. I am an allotment gardener so try and ensure that my plot is a natural resource for the varied flora and fauna that cross over it.

The improvement in the facilities that are becoming available to the town are a major source of active support, with new shops, businesses, Leisure Facilities, which I will continue to give pro-active during my time as a Town Councillor.
