I have lived in the Fakenham area for over 40 years and my family were brought up here. I
developed my career in the malting and brewing industry and was for some time Managing
Director of Anglia Maltings, I later re-trained as a chemistry teacher working for the County.
As a long time Governor of Fakenham High School, as Chair, I led the transition into
Academy status.

I have a particular interest in sport and leisure in the area having been a squash member of
the Gallow Sports Centre for many years and heavily involved with swimming clubs in all
capacities. I have long campaigned for a serious pool facility in Fakenham and will now work
to do all I can to ensure the success of this project, which has at last come to the fore.
